Ray machine exhibition list starts in 1997 with a Prize at Tirolissimo. Hereafter Bernd continues his prize-winning career and takes part in impressive exhibitions worldwide in shows and group shows.
In 2011 he wins 1st place in Amsterdam during the annual HIGH TIMES Cup with “RAY MACHINE”.
Ray Machine is, without doubt, one of the most complex pieces of functional art,
The bong which can actually be smoked consist of 2 circuits. One smoking circuit and noble gas-filled closed circuit which lights up by energy passed be tungsten.

About the Artist
Bern Weinmayer was born in Munich (Germany) in 1971. After following 4 years of a vocational college for glass blowing in Kramsach from 1988, Bernd took further education in design, arts and crafts in that same college between 1992 and 1994. Since 1994 he is a self-employed glassblower in Marieastein (Austria). In 1997 he received his Master Craftman’s diploma. Since 2000 Bernd is the Co-Chairman of the Austrian master level exams commission. He married in 2007 being the proud father of Maximilian and Juli.
